Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy

In order to confirm the booking of the trip and ground services, a payment equivalent to 20% of the package value must be transferred as payment for booking management and advance payment in accordance with the aforementioned contract terms. This payment is associated with the package and not an additional charge. It is important to note that this payment is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
General cancellation terms:
- Cancellation made 45 days before the service commencement date will not incur any cancellation fees (except as specified in clause 1 of the cancellation terms).
- Cancellation made between 45 and 14 days before the service commencement date will result in a 50% cancellation fee (except as specified in clause 1 of the cancellation terms).
- Cancellation made between 14 and 7 days before the service commencement date will incur a 70% cancellation fee (except as specified in clause 1 of the cancellation terms).
- Cancellation made 7 days or more before the service commencement date will result in a 100% cancellation fee with no refund provided.
Cancellation notices must be sent via email to the address listed at the bottom of the document, ensuring receipt confirmation of the email. The date of confirmation of receipt of the cancellation notice will be considered the cancellation date.
However, it should be noted that certain suppliers abroad may have different cancellation policies, and in cases where their services are utilized, their cancellation terms will take precedence.
Changes:
Following confirmation of the booking, any changes desired by the traveler must be made within the same calendar year; otherwise, the cancellation policy will apply. A written request for changes must be accompanied by a change fee of 40 euros per segment of the journey, with each segment defined as 6 days of walking. Changes cannot be made within 14 days before the departure date.

Notes and Clarifications:

Dare2walk specializes in planning and organizing complete routes in the Camino de Santiago. Thanks to our extensive database and direct connections with local service providers, we can accommodate almost any route request along the Camino de Santiago. Upon booking (see booking terms), a detailed itinerary tailored to the chosen route will be provided, including daily walking distances, pertinent notes, and arranged walking/riding days aligned with pre-selected accommodations and comprehensive meal arrangements or services ordered. This approach ensures full accountability and a seamless trip experience. Please note that prices in proposals are subject to change based on accommodation availability.

General Terms:

The itinerary and accommodation arrangements are subject to change due to ground constraints. Dare2walk cannot be held liable for incidents arising from force majeure, including adverse weather conditions. By signing this agreement, the customer acknowledges the physical exertion involved in the journey and confirms their fitness for such activity. The customer affirms that the presented itinerary meets their requirements as discussed or sent by the organizing agency, and they express full satisfaction with the arrangements.

Payment Terms:

All prices in the proposals are quoted in euros and are payable via credit card or bank transfer only. Upon signing this agreement, an initial payment of 20% of the package value must be transferred by bank transfer or credit card, as per the terms outlined above. The remaining payment is due in full no later than 45 days before the service commencement date.

Payments are to be made in euros via credit card or bank transfer to the Dare2walk account - POALILIT - IL740126730000000451240 IBAN -. In bank transfers, it should be noted as "ours," indicating that all currency transfer costs are to be borne by the transferor, along with a minimum fee for receiving currency transfers.

Failure to comply with any term of this contract, including non-payment by the specified dates, will be considered a breach of contract, releasing Dare2walk from any liability or claims related to tour planning or service provision. Dare2walk reserves the right to suspend the contract and provision of services to any customer at any stage, at its discretion, without explanation. In such cases, all payments made by the customer up to that date will be refunded in full, and the customer agrees not to make any claims against Dare2walk.
