Recommendations:

  • Choosing a backpack and shoes is not an easy task, but it pays off. Good, comfortable shoes are essential for a successful journey. It's recommended to take half a size larger than your regular size, as feet tend to swell during the walk. The varied terrain requires shoes that support the ankle, so it's important to choose high shoes that are comfortable, hold the foot, and still allow free movement.

  • Packing recommendation – after packing your bag and putting in all the equipment you think you'll need during the journey, empty it and go through each item, asking yourself if it's really necessary for the trip. This way, you can be sure you've packed only what is essential.

  • Regarding medical supplies – take only what is necessary (regularly taken medications, pain relievers, a few band-aids, antibiotics, blister treatment ointment, as detailed above). The route is dotted with villages and towns with multiple services, and you can find pharmacies everywhere when needed.

  • Don't forget to pack the most important things for the success of the journey – a smile, patience, tolerance, and love.

Buen camino.
